Last week I was taking pictures outside, and I decided to try the setting that stills moving objects. So I called Ginger and as she ran in front of me I took a picture. This is how they turned out.

Working on our Raised Garden
We started with thirty bags of soil but in the end we put in 41!
Dad nailed some temporary netting over part of the garden so Ellen and I could push the big chunks through it to break them up.

Our New Raised Garden
This is our new raised garden that Dad made (with Ellen's help). We put it in front of the driveway in what we call the "rock garden". It is mostly gravel and gets plenty of sun. It usually has daisies and weeds growing in it. We are really looking forward to planting a raised garden.

Crocheted Rings
These are some little rings I made for fun. I used thin doily thread for the rings and the heart and even thinner thread for the flower.
Wildlife on the Lake
On Monday because the weather was so nice dad took Ellen and I on a walk. We walked around a lake at Lakeside where there were all kinds of ducks and geese.

My Birthday
A Present
By Ellen Vogltanz
A present is
A pleasant thing.
Sometimes it
May even ring.
With ribbon,
Wrapping paper too.
It probably will have a tag,
And maybe it will be to you.
