These two birds were just sitting on a sandbar in the river. The white one is an American White Pelican and the darker one we can't identify.
Awhile ago Dad took Ellen and I to the bridge over the Missouri River to look for eagles. We saw about five bald eagles and even a juvenile. They are certainly a beautiful part of God's creation!

ReplyDeleteI don't think I have seen more than maybe one bald eagle anywhere around here. They are majestic birds, though.
